“And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it—only those who walk in the Way—and fools will not stray onto it. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and those the Eternal has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads” (Isaiah 35:8-10). The autumn holy days are drawing near. Time to go up to the mountain of God to worship the great King! “In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. And many peoples will come and say: ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.’ For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem” (See Isaiah 2:2-3). In the book of Genesis, we often read of the journeys of Abraham and Jacob. There is an ancient road in Israel that was used by many of the patriarchs. It is known as the Patriarch’s Way or some prefer to call it the Biblical Highway. It still exists today as a modern highway known as Route 60 in Israel. It connects Biblical towns, such as, Beersheba, Hebron, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Bethel, Shiloh, Shechem, and others. Former ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, and former U.S. secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, have teamed up to film their visit to Biblical sites along Route 60 in Israel. Their exiting tour will be presented as a movie in many theaters across the nation on September 18 and 19.
