 WHAT IS THE RIGHT FORM OF GOVERNMENT? “Of the increase of His Government and Peace there shall be no end,…” (Isaiah 9:7) WHAT WILL HIS [Yahshua’s] GOVERNMENT BE: A Kingdom, Republic, Democracy, Socialist, Fascist, Democratic Socialist, Communist? THE ANSWER: AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM “…upon the Throne of David, and upon his Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with Judgment and with Justice…even Forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Hosts will perform this. “(Isaiah 9:7) GOVERNMENTS OF AND BY MEN DO NOT LAST Pharoah’s government ended in the depths of the Red Sea. (Exodus 14:28) Solomon went into apostasy. His government was divided between his son, Rehoboam (2 tribes), and Jeroboam (10 tribes). King Belshazzar, son of King Nebuchadnezzar, was assassinated in 539 B.C. Alexander the Great, King of Macedonia, ruled B.C. 336-323. After his death in 323 B.C. his kingdom split into four parts. The Roman Empire lasted over twelve hundred years, but it did fall (476 A.D.)! President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in 1865, James A. Garfield in 1881, William McKinley in 1901 and John F. Kennedy in 1963. Hitler’s Third Reich, after crushing most of Europe, was crushed by Allied Forces, May 8, 1945. ANOTHER HISTORY LESSON: History also shows for governments in the hands of men, the old Roman adage is true: Absolute power corrupts absolutely! WHY? The lust for power leads to overexpansion (government overreach), ineffective and inconsistent leadership, government corruption and political instability. Military overspending The US controls about 750 bases in at least 80 countries worldwide. (https://www.thesoldiersproject.org). We cannot afford even ONE of those. We are flat broke: US national debt (not including private debt) is over $32 trillion. (US Debt Clock.org) Perspective: A Billion one-dollar bills land end-to-end would stretch across the US 126 times. A Trillion one-dollar bills, 126,300 times. WHAT IS NEEDED? A DIVINE KING WHO GOVERNS BY YAHWEH’S LAW “Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh (“the LORD”; KJV), that I will raise unto David a Righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute Judgment and Justice in the earth.” (Jeremiah 23:5). He shall be “…of quick understanding in the Fear of Yahweh: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: but with Righteousness shall he Judge the Poor, and Reprove with Equity for the Meek of the earth:… and with the breath of his lips shall he Slay the Wicked.(Isaiah 11:3-4) Note: A righteous kingdom does not mean “big government”. “THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN” (Matt. 6:10) ——————————————————————————————————- See Gary C.
