Charlie “Truth” Kirk – Church of God

As everyone knows by now, President Trump today received an “unconditional discharge” for his sentence in the lawfare case brought against him in New York state for the purpose of derailing his 2024 bid for the White House. Charlie Kirk in a short video, linked below, puts everything into perspective of the “witch hunt” against Donald Trump. Listening to Charlie describe the progression of events with his own style of delivery made me think of Paul Harvey. It was mesmerizing as Charlie laid out the obvious truth of what Donald Trump and the entire nation has experienced in the last four years with a “mafia-like” type of Administration. Charlie Kirk may be considered the “Captain of Truth.” Or just call him “Captain Kirk” for short. And certainly, Donald Trump has “gone where no man has gone before” with all that he has gone through as Charlie clearly points out in his monologue. Charlie finished his monologue beautifully by quoting a scripture from Genesis 50:20, “what you intended against me for evil, God intended for good.” Amen! Brother Charlie! No matter how bad or bleak things may look, God is able to give us the victory. In my own case, I know that God will deliver me from my accusers and from those who wanted to rob me of my inheritance against my mom’s wishes. From a sermon that I heard recently, some vital points struck me for standing firm against accusers just as Donald Trump had to do. As we see in the Book of Job, Satan has no power over us other than what God allows. We have God’s protection, but Satan’s main tool is to use scare tactics or deceptive lies to cause us to lose faith in God or in His Word. If we give in to fear rather than trust God, we can then fall into Satan’s trap which then becomes a painful lesson for our disobedience of God’s Word. We are told that Satan roams about as a “roaring lion” (I Peter 5:8). A lion’s roar can frighten its prey causing paralyzation or panic. Either response will hinder our faith. Rather, Peter tells us to “resist him by standing firm in your faith” (verse 9). Likewise, the apostle Paul acknowledges the same truth. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. … Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done all you can do, then stand firm” (Ephesians 6:10-13). The KJV and other translations only say to “stand” at the end of verse 13. The English Standard Version says to “stand FIRM.” That is the KEY! Not just to stand but to stand FIRM, immovable no matter how strong the opposition or bleak the circumstances. Why? Because God will deliver those who trust in Him (Psalm 50:15). Satan wants us to get frightened by his scare tactics causing us to buckle and then to knuckle under. Donald Trump did not “buckle or knuckle” as Charlie eloquently commended Trump’s firm stance against evil and unjust oppression.
