Prayers for Sharon – Church of God

I have been adding my voice along with many others in praying for Sharon Z. In addition to prayer, I would like to share something that may also be helpful. I have had several family members suffer with cancer. My own sister, also named Sharon, had breast cancer back in her mid-thirties. She was able to beat it and be cancer free for many years till about three years ago when it came back. I’m not certain what all treatments she went through this last time. But she seems to be doing fine at this time. My nephew’s wife, Megan, has just finished her chemo treatments for breast cancer. She is in her thirties. There are other family members that I can mention, but my point is that I’m well aware of the struggle a person goes through when fighting cancer. What treatments each person decides to pursue with cancer or any other health issues is a personal matter between him or her and the medical expert of their choice. We know that God can heal us directly or work through human instruments. We can’t walk in another person’s shoes, but we can pray that God direct their steps to needed answers. About 10 months ago, I started to have miserable pain in my right foot, especially, at the heel. As you know, the right foot is the gas-pedal foot. The pain was intense whenever I had to drive even a short distance. I tried better insoles for plantar fasciitis. No real help. I watched videos on stretching or exercising techniques. Again, they didn’t help. I came across a video that explained that the pain could be caused by inflammation. Eventually, I came across a video about Tocotrienols and their effect on inflammation. I ordered some from Swanson Vitamins. I loaded up on them when I first got my order. It was the only thing that took away the pain. I try to take about 400 mg each day (2 pills twice a day) to maintain their effectiveness. Tocotrienols are a form of Vitamin E. Most of the time, Vitamin E is in the Tocopherol form (commonly, Alpha-tocopherol). Dr. Barrie Tan is the foremost expert on Vitamin E, particularly Tocotrienols. I have linked some videos below where he explains the beneficial effects of Tocotrienols. I have watched many more of his interviews. One of the benefits of Tocotrienols is how it protects our cells from oxidation and can help with fighting cancer. Not all doctors are up on the benefits of Tocotrienols. Or they may confuse them with Tocopherols which should not be taken with Tocotrienols. Dr. Barrie Tan explains the reason for this. For this reason, sometimes a person may assume that if Tocotrienols were so good, then why doesn’t their own medical doctor recommend them. This subject can open a can of worms since the medical industry doesn’t like competition from natural resources that can’t be patented. What matters is the patient. If a God-made substance offers relief from pain and provides superior anti-oxidant protection for our cells, then may God receive the glory and not man.
