| Where is the correct location of Solomon’s and Zerubbabel’s temples? Some believe that they were in the City of David located south of The Temple Mount. As I have mentioned before, this can be easily refuted by videos that you can find online. The majority of those expecting a third temple to be built in Jerusalem believe that the Dome of the Rock on The Temple Mount is the correct location. As I have also said before, building a third temple anywhere on The Temple Mount is not possible at this time. Not to say that circumstances won’t ever change to allow it to happen. Even then, tearing down the Dome of the Rock to build a Jewish temple would certainly “throw gas on the fire” between Israel and the Muslim world. But if a destructive force, either natural or manmade, destroyed the Dome of the Rock, then perhaps that would pave the way for the building of a third temple. However, would that be the exact spot where the first and second temples stood? Is there another possibility that needs to be investigated? As mentioned before, I recently read a book, entitled, “The Temple Revealed: The True Location of the Jewish Temple Hidden in Plain Sight” by Christian Widener. This book names landmarks which will help us to identify the correct location of Solomon’s temple. Remember, Solomon built the temple on the threshing floor that his father, David, bought from Ornan (Araunah) the Jebusite. See 2 Chronicles 3:1. Does a threshing floor still exist today on The Temple Mount? Does the large rock (al-Sakhrah) under the Dome of the Rock look like a threshing floor? NEWS FLASH!!! I just found a video on YouTube which gives a good summary of Widener’s book on the site of Solomon’s temple. If you don’t want to obtain and read the book, then, by all means, watch the video for some good details on where a third temple should be built. Actually, the author made a second video similar to the first one with more details. Watch them both to get the best perspective on the author and his intriguing book.
