| Dear Laura – thank you so much for including our urgent request last time. The needs of our widows and orphans are always great, but our donors are so few, so their situation is often urgent, especially when conditions are life-threatening. Bill Goff asked if I could let you know that our funds are again getting low. We supplied food for several of our widows and orphans who had no food, burial for Dinaa Moraa who died of starvation, and medical care for Brian, Teresa and James, who are doing much better now. School fees are soon due for the orphans’ last term this school year. If fees are not paid in full, our caretaker Nehemiah Sibwoga Evans will be jailed and assaulted until we pay a bribe for his release. He helps several remote groups of widows and orphans in addition to Sengera House. Also, the government is demanding that we repaint the exterior of Sengera House, and will not grant an extension, but we haven’t been able to buy paint so the orphans can do the work. We have been trying to find more donors. Please help spread the word, and please keep praying for these precious and beloved widows and orphans.
