Goff (May 5, 2024) Greetings Brethren, Thanks to you donors, we were able to cover the expenses to bury Haron, hold the Feast of Unleavened Bread (where we supplied food to all the widows and orphans during the entire Feast.) And on top of that, we paid half the orphan’s school fees for the upcoming semester that will begin Monday May 6, 2024. (Half is still due.) But currently our funds are now depleted. Sir Kanth (May 6, 2024) Dear brothers and sisters in YAHWEH. Shalom Shabbat greetings to all.   How are you? How are your spiritual Leaders, Assemblies, staff members, believers and healthy of life? I have been sending mails, praying and sharing our Sabbath truth work update. But you did not respond. If you did not receive my introduction mail, I will resend it to you. I hope you are busily engaged in declaring the truth of YAHWEH by leaps and bounds. As a Sabbath elder I have a responsibility of praying for our fellow-Sabbath keeper and Torah observant. Remember we are all family of YHWH. All of our Sabbath keepers hardened their hearts. I don’t know you and you don’t know I.   1 CORINTHIANS 8:3. As I told you before, we are primarily a newsletter. We do not collect money from anyone for any purpose so therefore we do not have the money to send to you for any purpose. The only printed material we have is our newsletter, which you already receive. We do understand that you may be struggling but we are not a church group that helps with food or booklets to people in other countries. We also do not go to other countries to set up church groups. When we give things to people we give locally. We have donated to local food pantries, to local animal shelters and individuals that can use items we no longer need or want. With that said we sincerely hope that someone in your local area will see fit to help you with your needs or perhaps those reading this newsletter can also put you on their mailing list to send you magazines or booklets. Goff (May 7, 2024) Starving Brethren We still have some starving brethren that are crying for help.  I don’t know if you could possibly help by giving this letter some exposure.   I received the following from Douglas (The overseer of the Getionko congregation in Kenya) today:   “Our brethren have been suffering from extreme hunger. As of today, they have not had anything to eat, and the situation is only worsening. I have received numerous calls and messages pleading for help. Some of our brethren are not only hungry but also seriously ill, confined to their beds and too weak to even stand or work.   Personally, I have been surviving solely on hot water since Monday, and many others are in similar circumstances.   I humbly request your fervent prayers for us during this trying time. We believe in the power of prayer to bring comfort and relief.   Please keep us in your prayers as we navigate through this challenging period.   Yours in faith, Dauglas Ogendo.”   Thank you, Bill Goff     Letter from Elijah M. Letter from Elijah M. Osiemo (March 31, 2024) Dear brethren, praise God! Thank you for your Newsletter. I am a Sunday worshipper, and I have realized that I am lost, and I need to confess and repent, so I request to partner with you to change my Church to Sabbath keeping which is on Saturday. I was misled by Bible scripture from the Book of Colossians 2:16-17 new international version. But viewing King James Version the original translation, I found that the interpretation of New international version is the wrong one. Please accept me to come home. Myself, my beloved families, the Orphans under my care and all the little flocks at our Home Church are greeting each one of you with so much Christian love!   How are you and your beloved families? I hope and trust you are doing well, and our good Lord Jesus Christ is looking after you well. It has been really a long time since I last heard from you.   The situation in our Country is becoming unbearable. Our Country is facing a food shortage. ZAMBIA is facing the threat of food insecurity following a long drought caused by the El Nino weather. Half the Country’s fields are destroyed due to a long dry spell the country is facing. The price of food skyrocketed starting in 2022 up to this year.   I am here humbly requesting you in the Precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, if you can assist our Orphans with funds for food. The Bible says in 1 JOHN 3:1718 “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but indeed and in truth” Also in PROV 19:17 “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given which he hath given will he pay him again”   I will continue to pray for you, your beloved families, all the little flocks at your church and God’s work you are faithfully doing. Letter from William P. Goff (March 8, 2024) Greetings Brethren,   The orphans are now back in school, thanks to your support (Both financial and prayers). We reached the school fundraiser goal and thank those of you who contributed. The orphans who are in school are progressing quite well. So, we closed the “school fee” fundraiser.   But we also started a new fundraiser. Sad to say, we lost two more members to starvation. (A widow, and an 11-year-old boy of Daniel’s group.) Letter from William P. Goff (August 18, 2023) Greetings Brethren,   Hope your Sabbath is going on well.   Again, we want to thank all of you who have been assisting our impoverished brethren. (Some of you have been doing so for a long time) You continue to make a big impact on their lives. Especially to the many orphans and widows you have been caring for, and for a long time.   You often hear me mention (Matthew 9:37-38) How the harvest is great, but the laborers are few, and to pray the Lord of the harvest for more laborers (servants – workers). So, this is not necessarily for those who have already been helping and serving, but for others who “hopefully” will join hands with us in helping, because the need has grown, and become more dire. I often try to show the conditions that our brethren are enduring over there, but I think Nehemiah can elaborate much better being I am back in the States, and he is there.   I received the following letter from Nehemiah today, concerning the current conditions of our Kenyan brethren:   Shalom Donors.   Dear Donors and supporters,   First let me say, from the widows and children under their care, we are thankful for the good work you are doing to them. I’m writing on their behalf. They always kneel to pray for you to have good health, good, protected life from the Lord for your good works to us. And also, the Lord to open doors for you as you continue helping.   We help them the best we can with the donations we receive, but due to the high cost of living food is becoming very expensive. Some now do without meals. I witnessed a case where some brethren take hot water mixed with sugar and tea leaves as their dinner. Some faint due to starvation and rushed to hospital and it’s discovered that it’s due to starvation.   Some widows and widowers are living with their grand children whose parents died of many different types of disease and many deaths from starvation. I witness people begging from the homes of Matara, Milkah Daniel and others; they sit in their homes during lunchtime and dinner time. The food is not enough for these widows and widowers and their grandchildren and yet there are beggars standing at their doors when the little available food is cooked. Others are growing weaker and weaker each day.   There is a case I witness in some families these orphans living with their grandparents walking naked and bare footed. The widows and widowers can’t manage to provide mosquito nets and bedding to these poor, vulnerable, dejected, disadvantaged, suffering children living with them. We are told to do good to all, but especially to those of the household of faith. These brethren of ours are “full” of faith, but their bellies are empty. May the good God of Hosts touch, move and open doors so wide for you so as to be enabled to continue to help or support where you can.   We need His Kingdom to come more than anything, but for now we need others to join hands with us and help our suffering brethren. The donation reaches our brethren, (no one here on payroll or extravagant living) We have been documenting our impoverished brethren condition, and the wonderful help some have been giving them for years, is on our “Update Page”   www.khofh.org   Sorry for the report but that’s the situation we are going through may the Lord God bless you abundantly.   Nesh.”   Nehemiah is our eldest orphan, and he (along with Haron, the orphanage administrator) has been ministering to our impoverished brethren for a long time. They are both very humble servants, serving in God’s church. They (we) also need your prayers for God’s guidance and protection (Life in Kenya is very dangerous) especially now when we live in a world that calls good bad, and bad good.   If you can help our suffering brethren, please do so. Goff (August 26, 2023) Greetings and Happy Sabbath,   I just wanted to thank you all for continuing to assist the widows and orphans, we were able to get some food to all of them, and we were also able to pay the school fees for all 20 of the orphans living at Sengera House. (God continues to provide.).   Let us continue to pray for God’s guidance and direction. His Spirit needs to be leading all of us. So let us continue to pray for humility, and wisdom. We need to be good stewards, doing all things that are pleasing in His sight.   We are surely living in the end times. Prophesy is being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. Whether we see it or not depends on whether we have “eyes to see” and “ears to hear”. This world is transitioning in governments and powers, and Scripture is quite clear concerning the evil that is ahead. But this is not a time to fear, this is a time to be thankful because our Lord is soon to return, and only His coming Kingdom can end all the suffering that is transpiring all around this world.   My admonition for all of us is this: If there was ever a time to draw closer to our Creator, and walk in all of HIs ways, it is now. He tells us He is returning to a glorious church, one without spot or wrinkle. Does that describe us? Has He developed in us His Holy Righteous Character?
