Greetings Brethren, Pictured below are ten of the twelve orphans who are soon to return to school for the 3rd and last term of the year. Yes, they sure are growing up. Grammar school is as follows: 1. Askah Nyaboke 2. Faith Onsongo 3. Enoch Ombongi High school is as follows: 1. Francis Okechi Menda 2. Isaac Magara (papa) 3. Anita Moruri Okechi 4. Lucy Monyenye Moi 5. Naomi Karoo Jeremiah 6. Moreen Kemuma Okechi 7. Rebecca Nyansiaboka 8. Mildred Bwari Okengo 9. Jackson Benard We are still in need of their upcoming school fees. And we are still waiting from the Government the cost. (They said it will be disclosed soon.) We anticipate it to be around $4,000. (Maybe less.) We have also been informed by the authorities that they want the Boy’s house, cafeteria, kitchen, and storeroom painted on the exterior. The orphans are ready, willing and able to tackle that project now, before they return to school, but currently we lack the funds to purchase the materials. If you can possibly help, please do so. Most of you donors have been helping these orphans and widows for a long time. (And many of you go “above and beyond” all the time.) Your Love is surely “Agape”. Scripture says you will be rewarded well (and soon) by our Lord. But once again, we need a little boost. Remember, we have been helping about fifty orphans and twelve widows. (And that’s a difficult thing to do in a world that now [at these end times in which we are living] calls good bad and bad good. Some countries here consider one guilty until proven innocent (or most often until bribe is paid). It can be very rough here (As noted in the current update.) We continue asking for your prayers for protection. Our hope is that Nehemiah doesn’t spend any more time incarcerated. He had been arrested at least three times over the years and in teargas twice. The authorities here now hold him accountable for the orphanage and its children. As many of you know, that position landed Haron in jail more times than I can remember. (And there’s no exaggeration here on the numbers.) Thank you Brethren for your continued support of these orphans and widows. And let us please pray that prayer which our Lord informed us of in (Luke 10:2) “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into His harvest.” The need of our impoverished church over there is still great. And yes, laborers still few. That verse applies to the work we are involved in, and the times in which we now live. We are living at a time when man may have the “church” divided into hundreds of separate groups. But in God’s eyes, there are only two groups out there. Yes, two, the wise and the foolish, the sheep and the goats. Please let others know that we are still helping orphans and widows that are suffering, and still in need of our help. If others in the various “churches” of God only knew of the suffering, they would help. The work we are involved in is a good work, and producing good fruit. (And it’s well documented over many years, on our “Update” page.) So please help if you can. We are not cons. (1 John3:17) Thank You.
