You would be surprised how many times the Bible uses this phrase and in what contexts. I have included many various admonitions for all of us in the Body of Christ. It is like a manifesto for the church. I have, by no means, included all the “one another” statements. Therefore, you may conduct your own Search of the Scriptures to learn much more in addition to the ones I have included here. I hope these passages will be edifying and instructive to you. NAU Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; (NAU) NET Romans 12:16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. Do not be conceited. (NET) NAU Romans 13:8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. NAU) NAU Romans 14:13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this– not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s way. (NAU) NAU Romans 14:19 So then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. (NAU) NAU Romans 15:7 Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God. (NAU) NET Romans 15:14 But I myself am fully convinced about you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another. (NET) NAU 1 Corinthians 11:33 So then, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. (NAU) NAU 1 Corinthians 12:25 so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. (NAU) NAU Galatians 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. (NAU) NAU Ephesians 4:2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, (NAU) NAU Ephesians 4:25 Therefore, laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE of you WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another. (NAU) NAU Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. (NAU) NET Ephesians 5:21 and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. (NET) NAU Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; (NAU) NAU 1 Thessalonians 3:12 and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you; (NAU) —————————————————————————————————– See David Antion’s other articles at: Antion, David – Church of God, Bismarck (church-of-god-bismarck.org) Reprinted with permission from: Guardian Ministries http://daveantion.com/ —————————————————————————————————– |
