Ever wonder how even the very elect could, if possible, be deceived by false Christs (Messiahs) and false prophets which will show great signs and wonders (Matthew 24:24)? Most of the elect base their world and society views on basic conservative teachings from the Scriptures. So, if the elect might if possible be deceived by false Messiahs (or, a false Messiah), does it not make sense that a false messiah (and false prophets) would come across as very conservative sounding also in order to deceive? In the middle of the Scriptures is Psalm 118, preceded by the shortest Psalm 117 (2 verses) praising YHWH [the LORD] for his mercy, then followed by the longest Psalm 119 praising and instructing YHWH’s people to keep his testimonies and laws. In Psalm 118 in verses 8 and 9 it instructs us, “It is better to trust in YHWH (the LORD) than to put confidence in man. 9 It is better to trust in YHWH (the LORD) than to put confidence in princes.” Princes are very high in man’s governments and can become the top ruler or authority. So, in that regard consider this: Revelation 13:1 “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? [An insert is needed here: Exodus 34:14 “For thou shalt worship no other god [mighty one]: for YHWH [the LORD], whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:”] (continuing Rev.13:5) “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him [again Exo. 34:14 do not worship], whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.” Have we ever wondered how someone could receive a deadly head wound and yet live? Technology is making great strides, but…? Do we realize the wound in Revelation 13 does not have to be a literal wound? Might it be a political wound of a head of state? And on that note, here is a 12-minute video that covers a possibility that the elect should consider: https://www.brighteon.com/6225e81f-723d-4d44-95c7-66fb8a941962 |
